We opened with four aisles and a hand-written ledger. The website came in 2020 and the ledger is still in the back office.

What has not changed is where the stock comes from. The rice is from one mill in Jhapa, the ghee from a dairy in Chitwan, the tea from a garden in Ilam — the same suppliers, most of them for over a decade. It is why a product tastes the same in March as in November.

The prices online are the prices in the shop. Not a "web special", not a delivery surcharge buried at checkout. If we are cheaper this week it is because we bought well.
